I have been here several times the food is decent. But the service is questionable at best. We showed up in time for breakfast the women at the register acted annoyed that we even walked in. So we walked out and gave our patronage else where. Won't be returning.

Great Deli sandwiches, awesome side dishes and very nice selection of beverages. Just stopped in while on a group tour of Park City. Very glad to have visited. Try #46

I usually don't mind dirty hippies working in a restaurant, but this guy, and his anti-establishment attitude, takes the side pickle! The positive reviews for this place must be from his "back door, side business customers." We walked in an hour before closing, no big deal right? Granted, there was one person in our party who is a challenging customer, but this difficult customer only asked two questions and this clerk was beside himself. He went back to whisper, what I can only imagine, something rude about us to the bra-less sandwich maker. When we asked if he had organic ingredients, (not an impossible assumption when in a local dirty hippie establishment), the clerk rudely replied, "if I had organic ingredients, I would be charging $25 for each sandwich!" Well, clearly your natural principals stop at your dreadlocks. Just to be clear, we didn't order food from you because you were a total ahole, not because you and your girlfriend were filthy dirty. Thank you for begrudgingly giving our child a piece of cheese- I hope you bought more processed, dried out cheese with the dollar we gave (that you didn't think we were going to give you). Finally, your best example of customer service of the day was this statement as we walked out of your dumpy shop, "we probably don't have what you want anyway!" You're right, we can pay $10 for organic dog food, and it probably would have been fresher and made with more love. I hope your business is as successful as your rotten personality must be in your personal life. Peace-

The sandwich is made fresh and is tasty but what makes this little delicatessen 5*'s is the amazing corn chowder. Got this as a side and am glad this was my choice. The other sides were tempting but the chowder was fresh, a little spicy and flavorful. There are a ton of sandwich options that look good too, the other patrons probably saw me looking intently at what they got.

Had the #41 combo and the hubby had the same. Loved it. Ingredients were great and fresh. Will be back before we leave Park City!

My favorite sandwich shop within 300 miles, Chicken salad sandwich done right. An affordable and filling lunch.

The menu board is huge and making a choice between all the sandwiches is really hard. BUT, their lunch special is a sandwich, side and drink for $9.90 and at that price you can try lots of combinations. My food was really good - all fresh, delicious ingredients. Definitely recommend.

Carolina E.
So many options, it's hard to choose just one! The sandwich I did choose did not disappoint. Highly recommend for lunch
(5)
Todd V.
Simple deil style sandwhiches with some indoor and out door seating. Quality sandwiches huge selection ranging in price from 8 to 11 dollars. The bread is good too no disappointments there. I was howecer disappointed by the 3 bean salad tasted like canned beans in sugar saice. BTW horseradish sauce is quite spicy, so be prepared if you order a sandwhich with it.

Lindsey J.
STONER DELI! We ordered the breakfast sandwich and would've been better off eating at our bachelor brother's house. The eggs were hard boiled and sliced up and the bacon was microwaved. Lunch sandwich (turkey and salami) was dry and flavorless. The best thing about eating here was the pickle they gave us.
(2)
Lisa C.
Delicious, interesting sandwiches (great vegetarian options--yes options plural!) at a reasonable price. The fresh sourdough baguette was toasted to perfection and the veggies and brie were fresh and delicious. Great place for a quick lunch before hitting the slopes for a half day of skiing.

This small establishment in located in the Gateway Office Building on Swede Alley and Heber Ave. They have about 51 different kinds of sandwiches on the board - and offer fresh coffee and tea. I sampled the #51 which is a hot roast beef, banana peppers, provolone cheese, and mayo. It was toasted to perfection and hit the spot for lunch. Others in my party sampled the #4 tuna salad, 19 Italian combo, and #48 turkey (w feta cheese and tomato.) All said theirs were excellent as well. Prices for a sandwich and a drink range from 10-15 dollars. Which is about an average price for PC Main street lunch. The place has limited seating and a steady flow of patrons continued to walk through the door as we ate. Best parking is at the flag pole parking lot or the small East Galleria Mall lot.

This owner is running this place into the ground. He is making sloppy sandwiches and forgetting to follow the deli's own recipes. Next time you are there watch him. He hates being there and can't wait to close up shop and get out of there. I wander what the heck he is in such a hurry to get to. And the guy closes his shop at 2:30, not the 6:00pm as listed on website. Sandwiches have gotten really sloppy and messy! Runs out of bread every single day.

The best sandwich shop in Park City hands down and arguably one of the better sandwich shops anywhere...the meat and veggies are fresh, the bread is fluffy and the condiments have a lot of flavor. The variety is endless and all of the sandwiches are made to order. The prices are what you would expect to pay in a resort town ($8-15), and you get what you pay for, this is not Subway folks, might seem a little bit steep to an out of towner. I am a vegetarian so I can only speak to those types of sandwiches, but I have a tough time making a decision (the selection on all sandwich types is huge) because they are all so good. All of the men in my life love meat and think the italian, turkey, and tuna salad sandwiches are top notch also. They do not advertise it, but they do a veggie special called No Meat Monday, which I am obviously a fan of, where all of the veggie sandwiches are offered for $6 on Monday. They also do a late afternoon special from 3-4pm where sandwiches are also discounted.

Best Sandwich shop in Park City. Actually best deli in Utah. Great sandwich selection, great service and cool atmosphere! I would highly recommend it!!!
(5)
Daniel T.
Serving was ok, kind of seemed like we were putting them out. 50 sandwiches to choose from- too many options. Wouldn't revisit.
(2)
Lauren T.
Got the #30 to go. Combo is just 90 cents more for a drink and side so it's silly not to get it. The sandwiches are huge but I got the veggie #30 and it was delicious and I ate the whole thing. One person at the register and one person making sandwiches so it's a bit slow but I didn't care since I'm on vacation. There's some seating outside so if it's nice out its a good place to sit. Limited seating inside.
(4)
Elizabeth B.
Their hot Italian sandwich is just perfect. I make a point to stop here every time I'm in Park City. I've never tried anything else on the menu (never had a reason to), but the Italian is probably one of the best sandwiches I've ever had!
(5)
Betty R.
Delicious sandwiches, reasonable prices and a very friendly and courteous staff! My husband had the number 7 and really enjoyed it. I had the number 16. All the ingredients were really fresh and delicious!
(5)

We got the #26, and it was really tasty. Good bread, lots of meat, and the banana peppers were the icing on top.
(4)
Dave R.
a good cheap and good choice for Main Street, very imaginative sandwiches and sides... I had the "Bill Clinton" peanut butter and banana with bacon!!! very good.. also like their Ruben...
(4)
Elliott E.
The club sandwich is amazing!! I would have to say it's probably the best one I've ever had. I also like that they have a turntable and vinyl to keep it original. Two thumbs up!!

Price is fair, and the food is good. Can't ask for better place next to the hotel for a quick fix.

If it is possible to have simple but gourmet than this is it! My husband and I stopped in about 10mins before they were closing. Ordered a couple veggie sandwiches and sat outside to eat. Everything on the sandwich was tasty, the bread, the veggies, the spread simply YUM! Even though the lady working put the closed sign out when she brought out of sandwiches she did not make us feel rushed to eat and move along. All in all, just a nice affordable place to eat.

This place was voted Best Sandwich in Park City - and I can taste why. It's a little gem right next to the Festival Box Office. Over 50 sandwiches on the menu! I adapted the #16 and swapped out the swiss for muenster and had a turkey on sour dough and added avocado. I liked that the bread was both soft and crispy and toasty warm. Also, they've got good espressos and lattes. A bearded cashier plays Bob Marley records while he makes sandwiches and chats with the locals. It's really small, but it's perfect for a quick bite. Plus, for under ten bucks you can get a sandwich, side and soda. Great deal!
(4)
Scott P.
My favorite sandwich shop in Park City! Try the soup of the day! Their coffee is also really good.
(5)
James A.
Oh hell yeah. In the midst of all the pretence that is Park City, a down-to-earth sandwich and coffee shop. I had one kick ass meatball sub. Coffee is espresso that they've managed to make taste like drip, but who cares. Great food, authentic vibe, and reasonable prices. Recommended.
(5)
Jeff C.
Great Sandwiches. Great selection of breads. I ordered a number 37 with turkey and it was a great sandwich. My wife had the chicken salad and it was really good. The sides were all very good. Not many other good sandwich places in Park City. I'm glad we tried this place out.
(4)
Anthony A.
Worth the short walk from the town lift. Lots of choices. Both our sandwiches were fantastic. Soup was tasty.
(5)
Trisha P.
I've been there two days in a row now. Love all the sandwich options. They toast the sandwich to give it just enough crunch on the outside and enough warmth on the inside. Perfect combination. Their daily deal is too good to pass up also. $10 for sandwich, side (cookie is good), and a soda. Where I'm from, this is a bargain for this caliber of sandwich. I only dock one star because I wish it had more vegetables in the sandwiches. A few more greens would be nice for texture. Overall, great sandwich shop. Definitely an excellent, cost effective choice especially compared to other restaurants in town. We will definitely keep going here.
(4)
Thomas J.
Very good sandwich. Price is right. One of my favorites in town. My only issue is the hours. They seem to be closed most of the time.
(4)
Lauren R.
I was not that impressed. My sandwich was ok but pretty bland. I had the #46 and I would not recommend it. They put spinach instead of basil on my sandwich which was probably part of the problem. I also got the cucumber salad which wasn't that great either. Maybe I just got the wrong sandwich. The guy working was really nice and helpful though.
(3)
Tina F.
Not just a good sandwich shop... it's an *excellent* one! In the face of Subway and other crap-tastic sub shops, this one puts them all to shame! The menu is small but inspired, bringing together flavor combos that are unique and fun The meat is flavorful and wonderful (not that bland garbage one normally finds) FRESH veggies... delicious, crisp and wonderful! The bread selection is large... and with the opportunity to have your sub toasted, makes it all that much better To top it off, the owners and staff are accommodating and very friendly The only downer... wish their beverage selection was as inspired as their menu! Don't let the atmosphere fool you! This deli is a gem!

Best sandwiches ever. Really good fresh breads veggies. Nice spot for a quick lunch in Park City.

Best downtown Park City lunch deal! Check the specials board: today: ANY sandwich, side, and drink for $9. Tomorrow: who knows? - but worth calling/checking for! I grabbed a #48: An ultra tasty turkey, spinach, fresh basil, cuke sandwich on a perfect baguette. Normally, I eat half my sandwich and save the other half for later, but I found myself DEVOURING the whole thing! Being a glutton is easy when the food is this good. Sides vary, but included: a cookie, banana, chicken noodle soup, or a pasta salad. Love that there is Vegetarian items on the menu for all of my vegetarian friends. Sit outside with Fido or Fidette.
(5)
Megan O.
Sandwiches were decent, but baguette was doughy and dry. Recommend another bread choice.
(3)
Kane J.
"Braaaa...like my sandwich was like chill, I should have just put my own order on the like, order thing, then I woulda got it for free like the dudes at the window. Cool. Cool." Had the #29, could have used more coleslaw to fight back at the inch thick bread. Ambiance was as described above. The girl was nice at the counter, everyone else gave you the "you're not from around here" vibe, hey, it's a tourist town brodie.
(3)
Mr H.
Pretty impressed with this out of the way sandwich shop. Menu is a bit overwhelming, but the sandwiches were very good. #44 was my favorite #1 not so impressive 3 bean salad was quite good.
(5)
Abra A.
Totally over rated. Used Yelp while on vacation to find a a yummy lunch spot and decided upon this one. No many places to sit, poor customer service and less than stellar sands. We ordered 3 sandwiches and one of them out completely wrong. When we went in and asked they let us know that they were out of what we wanted and made the change without letting us know. LAME. Totally not worth $10 for a sandwich and soda and totally not work the 5 star Yelp rating.

Bonobo M.
Great sandwich spot. Liked everything we ordered and the location is perfect.
(5)
Gary K.
Went there because Uptown Fare was closed for the week. Had hot pastrami, swiss, coleslaw, and Russian dressing sandwich. Average at best. However, the side of the spicy black bean soup was very good. Service was quick and easy, and even though there are very few tables inside, was able to find one (and there are tables outside as well).
(3)
Dean M.

BEST SANDWICH SHOP IN PC FOR SURE!!! the bread, the meat, the cheese, the veggies hmm hmm everything just soooooooooooo fresh and so gooooodd!!!!!!!!!!!!! and so many different kinds of sandwiches!! I LOVE IT!! I always get #30 Toasted multi-grain with tomato, cucumber, banana peppers, sprouts, avocados, lettuce, smoked gouda, and honey mustard but I ADD TURKEY !!! OMGGGGGGGGG So good, im drooling!! :)
(5)
Jacqueline M.
Man I super love Back Door Deli. I think it's because they have 40(ish) sandwiches for both veg heads and meat eaters. I love a variety. My favorite sandwich is #40 the ultimate vegetarian. It has banana peppers, onions, lettus, delicious mustard, cucumbers, sprouts, it's so filling! Plus the staff is super friendly. I'm digging the Snow Special $10 bucks for a sandwich, drink and side. OMG I almost forgot about the sides! Crispy vinaigrette slaw (light and tasty) or the balsamic pasta (great traditional but non-traditional sandwich side) salad are my favorites. I'm hungry for a sandwhich now.

I was happy to return for the Sundance Film Festival 2011 and was looking forward to eating here. I wasn't disappointed! When walking in pre or post festival check for their "daily special" sign. This lucky day they were serving: SMOKED TURKEY,BALSAMIC, PROVOLONE, LETTUCE ON KAISER ROLL., PASTA GREEK SALAD and a drink. The sandwhich was so hearty and juicy, the Balsamic was the finishing touch w/freshly baked Kaiser bread! The Greek Salad was a perfect way to top off the meal being fresh and light with delish Greek Vinagrette. All for under $10 which if you're visiting/live in Park City this is an amazing deal for lunch! During the morning (or daily hours) they also have an Espresso Bar and Americanos (No brewed Coffee) Coffee Refills (Americano's) are only $1.00! Bring your mug in!

Best Sandwich in Park City, this locals spot has many choices of bread and rolls but go right for the sourdough baguette. Toasted and lined with your favorite gourmet meat, cheeses and filings and enjoy. The tomato soup is killer. Small spot with a few tables but I always seem to find a place to sit inside or outside. The sandwiches are so good it's always our first stop when we get back into town. High quality stuff Like prosciutto ham. feta, goat cheese, etc and it's in a ski town, so it's more expensive then typical place, but worth the price.

I discovered this small mom&pop deli after a long 4 mile hike, so maybe I'm slightly biased bc I was starving, and this sandwich hit the spot..regardless, this was probably one of the best sandwiches I'd ever had in my life Service was true mom&pop style; the girl at the register was so amazingly sweet, helping me choose a sandwich and offering suggestions and add-ons and such. Service with a smile :) & the sandwich, A M A Z I N G. I had the corned beef with coleslaw and russian dressing on rye. The girl at the register suggested I add on tomatoes and onions, and I wanted banana peppers on top of that (all this at no extra charge!). The sandwich came out piping hot and delicious. It was soo good, I'd drive out to park city just to have another, and I live 30 miles away in Cottonwood Heights! If you're ever in park city, in need of a yummy lunch and a smile to brighten your day, please do! stop in at back door deli :D
(5)
Karla D.
Stop here for an awesome sandwich! A real deli! Sandwich, drink, chips combo $10, but worth it. They advertised a 'Happy Hour' 4-6pm $5 sandwich during our stay. I had the #7(corned beef, Russian sauce, and amazing Cole slaw) that was the bomb! Next, day their #41. Great also. Small inside and outside eating areas...but near Main St....where you can walk and sit outside and eat if place busy (12-1). Yummie!
(5)
Dee W.
Stopped at many places for lunch in Park City this past summer. Declaring Back Door Deli as easily the best. Ate there about a half dozen times and had several of their sandwiches. All excellent. Most recently had the #8 (corned and roast beef on rye). If they sold their spicy mustard separately, I might have had to buy some.
(5)
Chris B.
Best Sandwich shop that I have found in Park City so far. Definitely pricey though. Try their #22.
(4)
Joe S.
Best lunch in PC. Must have 40 sandwiches at great prices.
(5)
Brian F.
for downtown park city its, at best, mediocre. roast beef not rare, pastrami and corned beef that they steam in a pressure steamer and bread that comes from the supermarket (not double-baked rye, etc) makes this place kinda/sorta laffable. try going to whole foods market in the kimball junction area (a little out-of-the-way) but so much better. they custom-make sandwiches...roast beef is rare and they have lots of good bread.

Great place and location for a sandwich and soup. I love a place where you can watch the person making your sandwich and everything in very fresh.

Wonderful sandwiches. They have many, many choices and so fresh. I could eat there everyday.

Sandwiches were decent, but baguette was doughy and dry. Recommend another bread choice.

Pretty impressed with this out of the way sandwich shop. Menu is a bit overwhelming, but the sandwiches were very good. #44 was my favorite #1 not so impressive 3 bean salad was quite good.

Great sandwich spot. Liked everything we ordered and the location is perfect.

Love this place! Best sandwich in park city hands down. Great service, and tons of options.

Nothing fancy just a very small and quaint sandwich shop, the sandwiches were excellent. Highly recommend this place.

Yummie!

(5)Chris B.
Best Sandwich shop that I have found in Park City so far. Definitely pricey though. Try their #22.
(4)Joe S.
Best lunch in PC. Must have 40 sandwiches at great prices.
(5)Brian F.
for downtown park city its, at best, mediocre. roast beef not rare, pastrami and corned beef that they steam in a pressure steamer and bread that comes from the supermarket (not double-baked rye, etc) makes this place kinda/sorta laffable. try going to whole foods market in the kimball junction area (a little out-of-the-way) but so much better. they custom-make sandwiches...roast beef is rare and they have lots of good bread.
(2)Craven M.
Great place and location for a sandwich and soup. I love a place where you can watch the person making your sandwich and everything in very fresh.
(4)Linda R.
Wonderful sandwiches. They have many, many choices and so fresh. I could eat there everyday.
(5)Liza A.
This is one of the best lunch spots in all of Park City. Homemade soup everyday, and over 100 fresh sandwiches to choose from make this a must stop for lunch during your visit to Park City.
